PETG T-Glass Filament 1.75 mm - 1 m

T-glass, short for Tough Glass, this new and unique filament has some very interesting characteristics with regards to clearness and strength. It is made from the highest optical quality PETG material. Unlike other polymers, some PETG, including T-glass are not considered “transparent”. Instead, it belongs to a group of polymers that are considered “colorless” and or “colorless with a percentage of reflectivity”.

Polylactic acid (PLA) is a bio-degradable polymer that can be produced from lactic acid, which can be fermented from crops such as maize. This makes it an ideal candidate for use in certain energy rich, cash poor areas of the world.

 

It is harder then ABS and melts at a lower temperature (around 180°C to 220°C), and a glass transition temperature between 60-65 °C.
